Our client had a semi-finished basement with a spare bedroom, bathroom, and recreational room collecting dust in his basement. Together our team and client decided a full renovation would best fit his needs.

We fully gutted the basement, moved a wall, and created a 1-bed suite with its own amenities including laundry. On the other side of the suite's bathroom is the laundry for the upstairs, making good use of this service wall that separates the two. We added soundproofing, an Ikea kitchen, and a gas fireplace to finish it off.

The basement suite is currently rented for $1,400 a month and includes shared storage in the garage.
